Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Foundation Medical Service Discord bot ("FMS Bot" or "the Bot"), the Foundation Medical Service staff portal ("the Portal"), or any related services (collectively, "the Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

The Services consist of:

• A Discord bot that provides utility functions for Foundation Medical Service members, including role management, shift tracking, codename processing, and informational commands.
• A web-based staff portal that allows authorized members to manage deployments, points, rank requests, and other faction administrative tasks.

The Services are operated for the Foundation Medical Service, a Roblox-based roleplaying community, and are not intended for use outside of this community.

3. Eligibility

The Services are available exclusively to current members of the Foundation Medical Service Discord server. Access to the staff portal requires authentication via Discord OAuth2 and possession of an appropriate server role. We reserve the right to deny or revoke access to any individual at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or abuse the Bot or Portal in any way.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the Services beyond their intended use.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data belonging to other users.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form or command.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Use the Services for any purpose that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Roblox's Terms of Service.

5. User Content

By submitting content through the Services (including codename requests, deployment logs, patient files, and other records), you grant Foundation Medical Service a non-exclusive license to store and display that content within the Services for operational purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit is accurate and does not violate any applicable rules or policies.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with the following third-party platforms:

• Discord — Authentication, role data, and bot interactions are handled via Discord's API. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Terms of Service.
• Roblox — Roblox usernames and user IDs may be validated via the Roblox API. Your use of Roblox is governed by Roblox's Terms of Use.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.

7. Termination

Foundation Medical Service reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or at the discretion of FMS Leadership. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Foundation Medical Service does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Foundation Medical Service and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. As a non-commercial community project, our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Services shall not exceed zero dollars ($0).

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any modifications.
